SA’ADAH Umrah Caravan 2013

We have been privileged in recent years to have organised sojourns for the local community during the blessed month of Ramadan. The caravan has been initiated by local men, who have been granted the ability to perform this blessed act to strengthen the love for their faith.

This has culminated in a regular annual visit to the two noble sanctuaries with typical group sizes comprised of 20 men and women. The first few days of the mini pilgrimage are spent in Mecca, where pilgrims perform their rites and the last 10 days of Ramadan are spent in the illuminated city of Madina.

The last few years have been very special with the group being able to spend sometime with many righteous scholars. The group participated in circles of remembrance with Habib Ali Jifri, Habib Muhammad Abdur Rehman Saggaf and were given a full guided tour of the Prophet’s mosque by Habib Asim.

This year Syedinah Shaykh Saad al-Attas will again be travelling with the Umrah Caravan in 2013. We were honoured to have him as our guide and teacher on the journey last year and are deeply grateful to him for his service to the community. He is a highly respected scholar with South African roots and descends from the Prophectic family in Hadramawt, Yemen. He is a grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace).

We hope to increase the cohort to a maximum of 50 with costs in the region of £1,500 for 3 star accommodation. We have attached some pictures of the last umrah trip, please click here to view the pictures. For those interested in joining the group of 2013, please email us at info@sa-adah.org.

The application deadline is Monday 10th June 2013.

We look forward to hearing from you.
